SYDNEY. May 23. The colliers Meeinderry and U allsena collided in the early hours of the morning off Hed Head, near Newcastle. The Miciuderry was badly damaged and put rack to port in a sinking condition, with the boiler room Hooded, but the captain managed to bcaeli her. The \Vallsend ivas not affected. There were mi casualties.—(A. and N.Z. (able.) The Meeinderry is a thrcc-m .tsteu schooner of 217 tons, built in 1883. The iVallscud is a three-masted schooner of KM) tons, built in 1899.
