PRESENTATION.

A very pleasing function took place yesterday when Mr. George Sutherland, the Well-known Auckland builder, was at his offices on the eve of his departure for Great Britain entertained by his employees. Mr. Sutherland and his wife and family were given suitable presents, and felicitous speeches were made by Mr. Cork and others on behalf of his employees. Mr. Sutherland expects to be away for about six months, and is leaving to-morrow in the Manuka. He is visiting bis parents in Scotland, and at the same time will be professionally interested in the great reconstruetional buildings works now proceeding in Europe.
