Matinees are announced for to-morrovr and Saturday, and the performance will be given nightly u» to and including Monday. OPERA HOUSE. The advent of a pair of comedy and voral entertainers in Jack Trent and Sadie, aud the revelation of the secret of the electroraotwn Phrozo were the newest features or the new programme at the Opera House last night, but they were by no means the only outstanding Items of entertainment. Trent specialises in military burlesques, while his partner, in the guise of a girl of the street. Introduces dialect comedy and eccentricdance eteps to give variety and brightness to the turn. A fresh sketch was presented by Sam and Elise Goldie, In which an errant husband with a fancy for having -nights out," is txeate* to the Jealousy cure, and reciprocates with a mock suicide. One or the brightest of the acts on the programme is that of Brightie and Carlyon, who kept the house In a continuous smile with a medley of song, dance and quip that was artistic as well as vivacious. The Sprightly Sisters once again performed up to their name in a series of their most popular sketches, which Included clever character acting, comedy business and catchy jazzing. The merry fiddler, Frank Whitman, provided some enjoyable variations of his original turn, while Huley and Bent kept the laughter going with their boisterous low comedy sketch, "Two In a Flat." Maggie Buckley introduced several more of her popular syncopated melodies, and Tilton and West appeared in another of their bright story and harmony acts. The disclosure of the secret of Phrozo will be made at each of the evening and matinee sessions of the new programme this week.
