OLD BOARD RETURNED.
OXE TREE HIL/L ELECTION. All the old members of the One Tree Hill Road Bonrd were returned at the triennial election yesterd&y. There were eight candidates for the seven seats. The poll was headed bj Mr. R. G. Clark with -259 votes. Very little interost wa« displayed in the election. The number of ratepayers on the roll is 1164, savoral of whom have more than one vote. Following are the details of voting: — R. G. Clark (chairman), 250: C. Purchae, 257; T. H. Rowe, 255; C. L. McIntcsh. 240: J. Patcreon, 228; F. Chapman, 224; H. K. Clayton, 211. Mr. A. S. Burt was unsn(eceesful in gaining ft seat with 139 votes.
