INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION.
THE AXKUAiL MEETING.
The annual meeting of the Auckland Industrial Association was held yesterday afternoon, Mr. F. il. Hills presiding. The following officers -were elected: — President, Mr. J. A. C. Allttn; vicc-pre- ! sidents, Messrs. J. E. Astley, B. Buttle, j "H. Dearsley, G. Fraser. G. C. Garlick, S. J. Harbiitt, F. M. Hills, A. E. Lawry, and J. W. Wiseman; general committee, Messrs. B. O. Booth, Wm. Browne, J. H. Dalton, G. Finn. T. T. Garland. U Joll, P. W. Jones. A. J. Kemp, S. E. Lamb, A. MeColl, E. V. Miller, C. B. Piuramer, and John Wilson, and E. J. Morris and C. A. Lee (representing the Builders' Association), H. Clark and W. J. Rattray (Boot 'Manufacturers' Association). D. Flynn and E. G. Gash (Coaehbuilders nmi Wheelwrights) ; executive, the president, vice-presidents, and Messrs. 1.. Joll. B. G. Booth, and A. J. Kemp: auditor, Mr. \V. W. Bruce. The Canterbury Industrial Association wrote stating that it was holding an exhibition of Xew Zealand-made goods at Christchure-h from November 13 to December ft, and asked for the support of Auckland manufacturers. There was 15.000 feet of space available at present for exhibition purposes, and the associahad in view an additional 12,000 feet for displaying machinery. It was decided to bring the matter under the notice of Auckland manufacturers.
