TOURISTS' CAR LOST. OVERWHELMED IX SAXD. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) KAITAIA. thbt day. Sir Geo. Fenwick and Dr. Fmwick on a motoring tour in tlie l-'ar XoVth visited Parengarenga. On their returnl trip, at Mangonui Bluff, a rocky point on Ninety Mile Beach, the ma<nieti> failed through water getting in. The tide coming in overwhelmed the car which in a very short while was practically pounded to pieces. Xo harm was sustained by the occupant?, who eavej their personal belongings. The car sent from Kaitaia brought the party back here, and they went on to Whangarei to-day. The car destroypd wae n. Dodge, the property of Dr. Fenwick, anl was insured.
