WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN" TEMPERANCE UNION. — A meeting of the Auckland District Women's Christian Temperance Union was held iv the headquarters ou Wednesday after noon. Mrs. Neal presided. There was a good attendance, and visitors were welcomed from Christchurch. Nelson and New Plymouth. Mrs. Williams, a delegate to The recent convention in Hamilton, gave a very interesting and comprehensive report of "the business transacted at that successful gathering. Mrs. Don. Dominion President, who was welcomed with hearty applause, addressed the meeting. She spoke of the year's plan of campaign, of Dr. 'Mary Armor's visit, aud from personal knowledge of her many excellent gifts.
