A tine musical programme was gone through, the quartet comprising; the Ripley and Collc.ze, rendering some specially choice items. 'Refreshments were served during the evening, and considerable time was taken up in social intercourse. The Rev. J. They had only been five months together, but were progressing on suuuil lines, and were making sure progress. He hoped the church would Boon have a sessjon <if its own. and that the number of managers would be increased. They were adopting a new system in regard to the finances of the church, and hoped soon to he in a sound financial position. They' had to adopt new methods to the cver-obanzlng, condition of things. It was their intention to light the churi-h by electricity at a very early date, and already they had nearly £100 in hand for that purpose. There were great possibilities before St. Andrew's, ami recently ■twenty-five new members had joined and seven more were on the lists. The Sunday School would soon be in working order under Mr. C. J. Smith. Bible classes were being formed, and there was a feeling prevailing that the future looked very bright. A church with such a history must go forward, end personally he felt that God would bless them In all their efforts.
