ROAD RACES. (By Telegraph.—Special to ••Star.' - ) HAMILTON. Saturday. The Hamilton Athletic Ctuh ran two rotd rac<ss Ibis afternoon, a three and three-quarter mile Marathon and a twelve mile cycle race. The conrses were set to start and finish at Steele Park. There was a large attendance of the public, and the racing was good, and the finishes close In both events. Results were:— Marathon Race, three and three-quarter miles. —A. Donovan. 120 a, 1; W. Parker, scr, 2; P. 3. Taylor, 755, 3. Time. 23m 22 1-s*. Twelves Miles Cycle Race.—L. J. Kelly. 200s, 1; H. Y. Tatley,, 200s, 2; J. Rogers, 80s, 3. Time, 36m 10*. The fastest time was put up by R. Hay.
