STRONG DEMAND IN LONDON. ANOTHER GOOD RISE. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) LONDON, March 31. The butter market is very firm. There is a strong demand for colonial salted and unsaltcd, which are fetching practically the same prices. Secondary sorts are within a shilling of the choicest. A considerable quantity is going to the Continent. Choicest New Zealand is quoted at ISB/ to 190/, against 175/ to ISO/ last, week. Choicest Australian is quoted at 176/ to ITS/, and exceptionally choic? lots at 180/. Danish is quoted at 205/ to 210/. The cheese market is firm, but trade is slow. New Zealand white is quoted at 94/ to 96/, against 92/ to 94/ last week. Coloured is scarce, and is quoted at 98/ to 100/, against 04/ last week. Australian white and coloured arc qmoted at 86/ to 88/, and exceptional lots at 90/. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
