AUCKLAND CITY BAND
The \urkland City Band held its annual meeting on the 30th inst.. Mr. D. Donnelly presiding. The reports of the secretary treasurer and president showed that the baud bad succeeded in liquidating fBOO or its liabilities during the year. The following officers were then elected:—Patron, .Mr. John Endean: president. Mr. G. 11. Foster; committee, Messrs. A. Webb, chairman. D. Donnelly, A. Cantell, J. itaynes, and tno executive officers; secretary. Mr. _. Moonev: treasurer, Mr. W. J. Munro: conductor, Mr. A. J. Clareburt; auditor. Mr. K. -S Cutfield: hon. solicitor, Mr. A. K. Duthie. Band officers: Bandmaster, Mr. W . j 'Munro; drum-major, Mr. A. Cantell; senior-sergeant. Mr. R. Dalton: discipline sergeant, Mr. 11. .Neilson: librarian, \v. T Leui_oii; assistant-librarian, a. (.. yiialfe. It was resolved to make a special effort to liquidate the band's remaining liabilities during the present year.
