MAKES THE QUARTER EXTRA DAMP. 6_! INCHES IN THE MONTH. I An unusual rain record is that of the first quarter of the year, the total to date being 1G.36_1, as against O.Slin for the first three months of last year. In the month that has just concluded we had a total fall of 6.20 in, as registered at Albert Park and recorded by the Government Observer (Mr. F. A. F. Burnett). This is 4.83 in above the fall for the same month last year. Rain fell on 20 days during .March, 1922, and the maximum fall for the 24 hour period was registered on the 22nd—l.-ilin.
