CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS. GRAFTON V. EDEN A. The final matches of the A.C.A. club competitions will be continued at Eden Park to-morrow afternoon. In the senior game, Edeu A v. Grafton, the position is that Grafton has just finished a first innings of 275 runs, and considerable interest attaches to Eden's first innings. Should the Eden batsmen rise to the occasion and get there or thereabouts in the matter of this score, it is doubtful if the game will be played to the end of two innings apiece in the three days allotted to the match, entailing a decision on the first innings. Under the conditions indicated by the present state of the weather, the wicket may be expected to be rather inclined to help the bowlers, in which case the Eden team will have a big task to beat a score of 275. In the second grade final North Shore, with 341 runs on for seven wickets, has set a very heavy task for St. John's to overcome. W.Y.M. 122, Onehunga 22 for five wickets, is the state of the third-grade final, which is capable of many changes ot fortune before the end is reached. The other senior games to be played are: Ponsonby v. University (Victoria Park), iv which the latter has made 302 for the first Innings; and North Shore v. Parnell. at the Shore, in which each team has played an innings, Parnell having a lead of 92 runs. THE HAWKE CUP. NELSON V: WANGANUI. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) .NELSON, this day.
