PIGS AND BACON.
MOVEMENT FOR CONTROL. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, this day. A conference of representatives of dairy factories in this district met yesterday to consider the establishment of an association to stabilise the price of pigs and control the sale of bacon and pig products. It was decided that suppliers and shareholders of every dairy company in Manawatu, from Ota'ki to Bulls, be called together by tne directors and the position placed before them in an endeavour to obtain the unanimous support of all pig producers in assisting to bring the scheme to a successful issue.
