W.C.T.U. CONVENTION.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Thursday. The session of the Women's Christian Temperance Union convention ended to-day. The following officers were re-elected:—President, Mrs. Don (Dunedin): vice-president, Mrs. L'rabb; corresponding secretary, Miss Henderson (Christchurch); recording secretary, Mrs. Evans (Wellington); treasurer, Mrs. Bcndeley (Auckland); editor and 'business manager of the White Ribbon, Mrs. Ferryman (Carterton) ; custodian of records, Mrs. Ewen. Mrs. Noda, Maori interpreter, thanked the convention ou behalf of the Maori delegates for the help given to her people. Presentations were made to Mrs. Densem, Mrs. Morton and Mrs. Jones, in recognition of their great kindness and hospitality.
