BULLET WOUND IN HEAD.

FARMER FOUND IN WHARE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N.. Sunday. William John Port, aged 50 years, a farmer, of Awaburi. who was removed to the Palmerston North Hospital on Friday evening with a bullet wound in the head, died early this morning. He was found lying on the floor of a whare near his house by one of the occupants of the house on investigating after hearing the report of the rifle. The deceasehad been to Feilding during the day, and appeared in his usual state of i health.
