PERSONAL.
Mr. O. H. Morrish, postmaster ai Dargaville, has been appointed Registrar of Electors for the Kaipara electorate. Mr. J. Hay, formerly postmaster at Devonport, and at present electoral inspector, left to-day for Dargaville. Dr. Thomas Gilray, medical superintendent of the Napier Hospital, on Monday forwarded his resignation to the board, to take effect from May 31. Mr. 'P. S. Xicholls, vice-president of the Canterbury Automobile Association, is at present on a visit to Auckland. The Hons. D. H. GuthTie, Minister of Lands, W. Nosworthy, Minister of Agriculture, and E. P. Lee, Minister of Industries and Commerce, External Affairs and Justice, are at present in Wellington. , Mr. G. C. Parker, postmaster at the Shortland Street office, who has been Registrar for Auckland Central, is now Registrar for Auckland East. Mr. F. Evans, Registrar of Births, iMarriages, and Deaths at Auckland, has been appointed Registrar for Auckland Central.
