PRICES FOR FAT STOCK.
LATE RATES MAINTAINED. Prices for fat stock at the 'Westfleld sales to-day were on a parity with late rates. Messrs. Buckland and Sore reported penning 485 head, comprising 333 eteers, 149 cows and he if ere, and three bulls. The quality was first-claea. Extra choice ox cold to £1 5/; choice and prime, fl 2/ to £1 4/j ordinary and plain, 18/ to £1 1/; rough beef, 6/ to prime young cow and heifer beef, £1 to £1 4/; ordinary cow beef, 15/ to 19/. Heavy prime steers ranged in price from £8 10/ to £10 7/; lighter prime, £7 to £8 7/6; light prime, £5 15/ to £6 15/; unfinished and small, £3 5/ to £5 12/ti; heavy prime young cowe and heifers, £5 5/ to £7; lighter, 1 £4 to £5; heavy aged cowe, £3 to £3 7/6; other cow*, £1 5/ to £2 15/.
