UNIVERSAL CORPORATION
FOR INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS. £20,000,000 CAPITAL PROPOSED (Received 10 a-.m.) LONDON, February 28. The Organising Committee of International Corporation has reported in favour of. the establishment of a national , corporation in each affiliated country, with an aggregate capita] of twenty millions sterling, whereto Britain, France, Italy and Belgium will subscribe equally, but other countries, including Japan 'jtnd America, have been invited to | subscribe if they desire. The foregoing associations -will be linked with the International Corporation, with a capital of two millions, and, sitting in London, on which all associations are to be represented. The committee urges the Governments interested to obtain legislative authority to give the necessary guarantees to respective associations to enable a commencement to operate immediately. The committee declines to deal with countries not recognising past debts and other international obligations. (A. and N.Z. Cable.) ' .
