TE AW'HIXA FOR OVERHAUL. The Harbourmaster at Auckland advises that the Harbour Board's tug Te Awhina will go on the slipway next Monday for annual overhaul. MAKURA DUE FRIDAY. The Union Company advise that their mail steamer Makura left Suva on Monday night for Auckland in continuation of her ->oyage from Vancouver, and she Is due here at 6 a.m. on Friday, sailing the same evening at 5 o'clock for Sydney. THE SOUTHERN CROSS. The Melanesian Mission steamer Southern Cross was berthed alongside the Hobeon wharf this morning for repairs. She will make her next trip to the Soath-westera Pacifir. leavini Auckland the middle of April. SUSSEX DUE NEXT MONDAY. The Xew Zealand Shipping Company advise that the .Sussex is due from the .South on March 6, to load a small quantity of <-argo for New York and Boston, and will clear finally from this port about a day later. ATHENIC TO-MORROW. L. D Nathan advise that the Shaw-Savill and Albion liner Athenic left Wellington yesterday afternoon for Auckland, and is due here to-morrow at noon to discharge ami load Homewards. She ■will be berthed at the Queen"s wharf RARAWAS EASTER TRIP CANCELLED. The Northern Company advise that the proposed sailing of the Rarawa from Onehunga for New Plymouth on April 18 has been cancelled. She will make a trip on April 12. MALAHAT SAILED. The Canadian five-masted auxiliary schooner Malabar, put into Auckland on January 20 to undergo repairs to her rudder after having it damaged In a northeasterly gale, sailed for Kaual, Hawaiian Group, to-day, resuming her broken voyage from Newcastle with a full cargo of coal. RUAPBHU SAIL-ED. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Buapehu sailed this afternoon for Gisborne and Wellington to continue loading. She is now announced to sail finally from Wellington for Soo&ha-mptom and London on the 14tfj.-iii.st., instead of the 9th, is previously announced.
