The Wellington Hospital Board to-day discussed the proposed amendment* to the Hospital Hill, and particularly the '•"• question of appointments. Satisfaction was expressed that the clause giving [' the Minister lhe power of veto had lieen i, -struck out. The opinion was expressed that there was still an element of danger "j in the mea.sure, as the Minister might c be able to delay an appointment indefinitely.
