(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. On resumption- of the Wellington v. Otago match, Burton and-Patrick faced the bowling of Carlton and Dickinson. Wellington's score had only to 215 when Ptetrick, who had scored one, was beaten by the sixth ball of Carlton's over. Binnie followed, scored four . off a boundary hit, and then knocked one i from Carlton into Duncan's hands. 226 -7-4. Condliffe followed, to see Burton i playing briskly. In one of Carlton's > | overs Burton hit four fours. Shepherd i took a turn bowling, and beat Burton, ') who had made 49, including nine fours. 1271—8^-49. Barclay tot* Burton's place.
