A representative meeting of producers in the Whangarei district, convened by the Farmers' Union and A and P. Society, held in the Whangarei Town Hall, unanimously affirmed the principle of the proposed Government meat pool, and it was decided to send a delegate to the forthcoming, conference. Mr. T. 0. Haycock will be the accredited representative from this district, with power to act in terms as,expressed at the meeting.
