THREE __BN ___£__>. STREAM OF STEAK AND ASHES. (Received 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. Three men were killed owing to a boiler bursting at the Australian Portland Cement works at Fyansford—Charles Curtis, George Lidstone, arid Alexander Clavarino. The' men were having lunch at the time 12ft in front of the furnace, when the explosion occurred,' and a stream of steam and ashes shot out, killing them instantly.—(A. and N.Z.)
