LAWN TENNIS.
The team to represent Auckland at the forthcoming N.Z. ch.imlponship tournament at Clrristcburrb next week, will leave for the South on Thursday ovcnlnc. Oesldcs contesting the championship events individually aixl in doubles, they will represent the province in the Wilding Shield tennis mutch. The team is: bartleet, Hohson, Griffiths. :ind T. Clark. Dr. Uuironson, the Auekami provincial single's champion is at present residing at Matamata, and is consequently ineligible for the Auckland team. He will probably take part in the championship events as a nominee of the Waikato Association.
