HIGHER INCOME TAX. (Received 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. It is understood that Mr. J. T. Lang's estimates will disclose a deficit In thn vicinjty of £2.000,000. It is suggested that the ledger should be squared by increasing the tax on higher incomes.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
