AFTER CHRISTMAS SITTINGS. (By Keporter.) WELLINGTON, Friday. - There' was a very evident desire on the part of members to speed up _the work of the session when the Premier moved that from December 5 the House sit on Monday evenings. Howard: Why not the Sabbath? Mr. Massey: We never break the Sabbath. There was a chorus of voices round the chamber' supporting the plea to sit at the usual afternoon hour on Monday, while Mr.- Isitt inquired if jtliere was any chance of finishing before; Christmas , if sittings were- held on Sainirday and Monday.
