The aesessora for the employers were iMeasrs. T. IT. Chapman, €." ii. HdpeIjohnstonc, and J. Maesey, and ior the tmion Messrs. J. P. John and A. Gotdwafcer. The Commissioner, Mr. T. Hatle Giiee, presided. The hours of work ol motor and horse driver 9 have been red'iKVi from s(i to 52 hours per week, and those for all otlier worlro-re from 52 -bo 48 hours. Wages remain the same as in the oW award, with the exception that the flat rate has been increased by 5/ gjer week and tlie bSiiui reduced by an eqiial amount. The workers have also been allowed a quart of milk each daiily. For work done on New Year's Day, ITriday, and Ghnstmae Day wbflcers 'trill be paid one pay in addition to the ordinary week's wage. The othor clauses are in accordance with the old award. The award te to come into operation on November 28, ami *lil remain in force for ont , year.
