GALE ON THE COAST.
SMALL VESSELS DELAYED. A telegram from Gisborne state? that the schooner Klsie Mary has put into Tokomaru Ray for provisions. As the boat left fiisborne about ten days ago. it L- evident that she has met unpleasant experiences on the run up to the cape. She lias apparently mit back after sheltering up the "coast and is waiting at Tokomanj Bay until the weather clears. As she depends entirely upon sail, she was more affected than the Fairburn, which arrived at Auckland this morning, and which left Gisborne about the same time as the Elsie Mary. The captain of the Fairburu reports that he had a rough trip during the ten days which ihe auxiliary vessel took to come here from Gisborne. The AVaiotahi arrived this morninp after her prolonged trio to Opotiki. where slip had to wait for a couple of days until the weather cleared.
