The Maheno sailed from Sydney at 5 p.m. yesterday for Wellington with passengers and 90 bags of mail, which will come North by the express to Auckland. OVERSEAS CABLES. A cable from London announces that the lonic has sailed from the Home port for New Zealand, and a message from Montreal states that the Canadian Planter has sailed for New Zealand ports. The Paloona sailed from Melbourne for Wellington yesterday. PASSENOEKS FOR SYDNEY. The Manuka, sailing this afternoon, takes the following passengers for Sydney : Misses Vivian, Overington, Elliott, Henten, Dempsey, Russell, Steele. Mesdames Russell, Mamgan, Lyes, Roe, Herbert, Wickins, Follet, Hoyden, Sterling, Adams Russell, McNab, Vasey, Marks, Prime, Barnard, Charlesworth, Ware, Messrs. UNION STEAM SHIP COMPANY. The Flora will not sail until 10 a.m. to-morrow owing to the rain, which delayed her loading yesterday. The Manuka sails for Sydney at 1! p.m. to-day. The Kimna loads sugar at Chelsea and comes across to Auckland to add general cargo on Saturday morning. She will sajl the same day for Wellington, Lyttelton. Tlmaru, and Dunedln. The Waitemata has been delayed here by the rain, and she will Bail for Southern ports with her Indian carco on Saturday. The Kaiapoi sailed from Portland at fi p.m. yesterday for Napier, Wellington, and Greymouth. The Katoa leaves Lyttelton for Auckland direct on Saturday. The Kaitangata left Hebart at 11 a.m oc Tuesday for Auckland. When she has worked her cargo here she will go tc Southern ports. The Tresithney will arrive here with hei cgr&o of Welsh coai Tor the Goveinmeni to-morrow evening.
