FLIGHT FROM NEW ZEALAND. LIEUT. BRIOGS' ADVENTURE. illy -Telegraph,—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Lieut. Briggs, the Australian airman who gained distinction with the Royal Air Force during the war, and who has been prevented by the Australian civil aviation authorities from essaying a flight across the Tasman Sea from Melbourne to Bluff, as his machine is not suitable, will during the next few months make the attempt in a large flying boat he is getting from England. Mr. Horace Wilson, a young New Zealand journalist with flying experience, who first cabled Lieut. Briggs for a passenger's seat, has been advised by Lieut. Briggs that he will only be too pleased to have Mr. Wilson to nccompaii3' him. Mr. Wilson accompanied Captain Gray in his flight from Christchurch to Wellington. He resides at Addington, Christchurch.
