Most of the English society people have prone to Scotland, where tbe King:, the Prince of Wales, Mr. Lloyd George, and Minister* of the Cabinet are holidaying in the Highlands* near Inverness. The King is the guest of The Mackintosh of Mackintosh at Moy Hall, and is enjoying splendid sport among the grouse. The Royal party brought down 450 brace of grouse on Monday and 750 on Friday. The meals are served with ancient state, the guests being in Highland dress, and pipers playing and parading through the vast dining halL Mr. Lloyd George has rented a house at Gairloch, but incessant rain prevents him from indulging in his favourite sport of fishing.
