TAURANGA BRIDGE PROBLEM.
NO SOLID FOUNDATION. (By Teleprar.h.—Press Association.) TAURANGA, this day. Svrious difficulty has developed in connection with the sinking of the cylinders for the railway bridge across tjie harbour. Four sets urc down nearly ■seventy fvet below the harbour lloor. and no s.ign of stable bottom lias yet been reached. The cylinders are very large, weighing over a ton per foot, and as it is absolutely necessary to [hid a solid foundation, the engineers are faced with a difficult problem.
