ORGAN RECITAL.
A musical event of unusual interest I will take place in Holy .Sepulchre Church to-morrow (Sunday) evening, when Dr.| T. ll.iigli. Mil*. U..C.. F.tt.l'.().. A.U.t.M . (London), will give an organ recital after tiie evening service, commencing at 8.1.1 p.m. Ur. Haigh. who is ar. prc->enli conducting examinations in Auckland j under the auspices of the Associate 1 ! Board of Music, is also an examiner to I the Royal Colleffr of Mu-ic and tin-j Royal Academy of Music. London. A« an organist he pcwMv-se* iiunsuiil i brilliancy and technique, and his compositions of music for the orcan are well known and widely ined in Kngland.. Of his own works Dr.' Haigli will play a] Sonata in X Kbit, a Moment Mu.si.-a!,, Cradle Song and Scherzo. The pro-j gramme will also contain tiie Toccata i and I'ugue in I) Minor by Bach, a Cl:or:il' of Brahms, a Canon hy Schumann, the Adagio and Schcr/o from W'idor's Fourth Symphony, and Guilmant's Finale in E Flat. The organ of Holy Sepulchre , Church is by Norman and Beanl, and is • one of the best church organs in New! Zealand.
