The clearing up at the Reefton Gold Mines resulted in ]230z of gold being won from 180 tons of ore crushed during the fortnight the battery was running. This is equivalent to I.3d\vt 16gr per ton of ore. This return was from amalgamation alone, as the cyanide plant is not yet working.
