DATE OF THIRD TRIAL. THE ONGAROTO TRAGEDY. The third trial of Te Kahu. the Maori charged with the murder of llicliard Elliott, the railway surfaceman whose body was recovered from the river near Ongaroto, has been set down for Monday, September 12, before lir. .lustkf Stringer and a jury. This trial will take place at Hamilton, and it is understood that the jurymen will be taken on Tuesday, September I.'!. to view the scene of the alleged murder. The two previous juries failed to reach an agreement.
