Eaflr's (opp. His Majesty's Theatre). OPETRA HOrSE. The newcomers on the bill at Fullers Opera House last night were an entertaining team, including a qnlek-ebange artist, who is both expeditions and artistic, a novelty juggler who might reasonably claim to be the highest in his profession, and a jolly-lookins contortionist, who can get most surprising wrigsles ont or his well-padded figure. Randolph King, the change artist, presentod half-a-dozen lightning change. s , in each of which he gave ail excellent character sketch, in which he turned easily from comedy to tragedy, and. incidentally dashed in an admirable ventrtloquial episode, making a tnrn that was clever, entertaining, and amusing. The Juggling of Don Stuart was made distinctive from the outset tiy the comical cadaverous appearance of the artist. \vHn t pensed a line of ridiculous pattor directed at himself, and. in addition to displaying exceptional ability as a straight palmist, included a number of fake tricks in his turn, and very cleverly exposed his impositions in most amusing fashion. The contortionist, "Marshall."' performed stunts on a chair, and oozea through narrow rings m a most surprising fashion. Once ugaiu Laura Cnerite proved the star of the programme in a new series *of burlesque sketches and songs, in which her ability to catch the distinctive characteristics of London types, and give them an irreidstible twist of humour, made here a prime ■ favourite with the audience. I>jla Stan storm's fresh budget of 1 lting violin solos won instant approval from the ■while the drolleries of a conpie of sketches m which the Richardson Bros, and Cherie collaborated in song, dar.ce, and patter, proved another turn that evoked liberal applause. Ray Dawne, the California!! whistler girl, put on new selections. Mirtira Vfnhr appeared with new rag-rime specialties, and the moying-pic-tnrr- comedy acrobatics of 'Bergli and Bnglish. illustrating the" kind of work that makes the reparations of the -movie" favourites, completed a satisfactory bill of fare.
