Hamiltou, the visitors, together with the members of the AackUnj team, were entertained by the officials of the A.P.cS.It.U. The resident of the Schools Wiion, Mr. It. 11. Paterson. and the manager of the Auckland team. Mr.' E. ■& Stretton, concratulated the Hamilton lads on their splendlil showing in the daj'i match, and expressed the wisli that the Aucklanders have an opportunity o£ playing them a return match at Hamiltou Mr. Tooin.in. the manager of the visitjnj team, in a fpvr well chosen wot(ls thanked th<> officials for ttipir eood wishes and for their hospitality, ami in doing so'extended to tlie Aucklanders a warm invitation to play a return match at Hamilton in tlie near future. The president, the lads of both t"anis were taken on a harbour trip, and in the evening [the Waikato hoys, having spent a most enjoyable week-end, left liy rail for Baniilton.
