WEEK-END ACCIDENTS.
MOTOR CAR COLLISION. '" J A collision between a motor car an<? a tramcar occurred at the Grafton i Bridge stop about 4 o'clock on Saturday ,: afternoon. The motorcar was coming up the hill, and approaching a stationary tramcar, when it bumped into tho safety-zone post. The car swerved, and collided with the tram car. Tho three occupants received injuries to tha face and head necessitating their removal to the Hospital. Stanley Lawson and Ernest Burbridge received minor injuries to the head, but after dressing were sent to their homes. The other man, Christopher Waterstone, married, and residing at 49, Sale Street, Freeman's Bay, was admitted to tha Hospital. While playing at C&rlaw Park oa Saturday in the match Possibles versus Probables, a player from either side received injuries in the course of tho game which necessitated their going W hospital. One of the players ml J. Harley. who sustained a concussion, and the other Harold Church, who wa« somewhat severely bruised about tht legs. While alighting from a tramcar at th» foot of Khyber Pass Road last evening , Mrs. Fanny Hulston, 52 years of age, and j residing at Broadway, Newmarket, fell to the ground. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where it was ascertained that she had sustained a dislocated shoulder. It is stated as the cause of the accident -that the car had moved on as Mrs. Hulston stepped off it.
