Absolut* Proof of It* Value. M r- P came to mc m May last year. He was on crutches and barely able to use them. He had been in the Auckland Hospital on three occasions, viz. ; five weeks, seventeen weeks, sixteen weeks respectively. He was discharged as incurable. He had been bad for six years. The spine was bent and the muscles of the chest and abdomen contracted with rheumatism and neuritis. His neck was stiff and bent, so much so that he could only see a few feet in front of him. He suffered intense and constant pain—all his joints were swollen and painful with rheumatoid arthritis. He could not lift a cup of tea to his mouth. In eight weeks he was so much better that he could again do work. His spine and head were very considerably better, and he had lost all hia pains. Good progress is being made with thp rapid way of building now being used by the Harbour Board on the Central wharf, where carpo storing sheds are being put up. The framework is of girder steel, as in the ease of the other sheds that have been erected since the Board's scheme of reinforced concrete wharves was entered upon, but a new system is being employed in the walls. Instead of being built up of corrugated iron, concrete is used. Wire is stretched between' the framing until it makes something like a huge net with a mesh of fifteen inches. Wooden mould framing is bolted both sides of the iron framing, leaving a space of about six inches, in the middle of which is the wire net. Concrete ia poured in at the top and rammed down, and when it is set the wooden moulding-frame is unbolted, and used again. The concrete does not reach to the eaves, as strength is not required so high up. There is a space of about four feet between the top of the concrete wall and the eaves, and this ih "shingled" with aebestos sheets. The doors are of corrugated _ iron in angle iron frames. Every article reduced from 15 per cent running to 30 per cent below usual prices. Save money at Fowlds' Sale. — (Ad.) Send a postcard for a free sample of Rolfe'e wax for floors and linos.
