"BRITISH TRADE SHIP."
NOVEL PUBUCITT PROJECT. I TKAVEIXING EXHIBITION. LOXDOX, July 15. A novel and ambitious scheme to advertise British manufactures throughout the world has been launched by Sir Geo. B. Hunter, Earl Grey, the Duke of and other prominent men. They intend to build a large ship, of a type never hitherto constructed, and to send it on a cniise of the world as a floating exhibition of the goods of the United Kingdom. There wiU be a specially designed display, in large and varied quantities. The vessel, which will have comfortable accommodation for exhibitors and for the reception of visitors, will call at numerous ports. Though the scheme is vet in its early stages, a company entitled the "British Trade Ship/ has been formed, with substantial backing.
