AUSTRALIA'S FLEET.
CONFERENCE IN LONDON. LONDON, July 15. Mr. W. M. Hughes again conferred with Lord Lee (First Lord of the Admiralty) to-day on the new naval proposals. The interview, which was private, lasted over an hour. There is no support to the suggestion that authority has been given to Australia to work out a scheme acceptable to Britain on the basis of co-opera-tion on lines already indicated, independent of the conference.
