IX 'RESPECT OF .HOAttTM KG S. Section 231 of By-law No. 1 is hereby amended and extended toy adding: — 1. Provided, however, that oo hoarding .will be permitted to *c erected In any street or portion of a streei that is wholly or mainly occupied by residences. 2. That no .hoarding will l>e permitted to be erected adjacent to any public pa;*, recreation ground or reserve vested, in the City Council. 3. That no hoarding will be permitted in such streets or portions of streets (in addition to those) described in No. 1 hereof in whici the Council tball, Iby resolution iTom time to time prohibit true erection at hoardings. Subjection (c) cf Section ill of By-law No. 1 Is hereby repealed and in lieu thereof the following is enacted:— That the Licensee of every Licensed Hoarding Hhall pay to the Council a._liccnse fee at the rate of 2/ per square yard per annum, commencing on the Ist day of -April in each year. But In no case shall such fee toe less than 20/ per annum. ■payable naif-yearly In advance.
