DAVIS CUP DRAW.

BRITISH TEAM SELECTED. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, July 4. Max Woosnam, F. G. Lowe, and N. G. Turnbull have accepted invitations to join the British Davis Cup team. Campbell has also been invited. — (A .and N.Z.) it was suggested last week that England would forfeit to the winner of the Aus-tralian-Canadian tie, owing to the team not being considered sufficiently strong in the absence of R. W. Lycett: This player, who learned his tennis in Australia, is qualified by birth to play for England, but his tactics in the st-mi-final of the English championship, in which he was beaten by Shimidzu, were apparently so unsportsmanlike that the selection committee refused to consider him as a possibility. THE AUSTRALIAN TEAM. VANCOUVER, July 4. The Australian Davis Cup team (N. Peach, C. Todd, J. O. Anderson, and J. B. Hawke) has arrived at Victoria, all well.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
