Sir Frank Carter is a leading man, who remained in India to take part in public affairs after retiring from business. He was sheriff oi Calcutta recently. The Press unanimously condemns Lord Ampthill because Sir Frank Carter Is the mouthpiece oi responsible European opinions. The papers consider Lord Ampthill is stirring up racial hatred —(A. and N.Z.
