LONDON, .March 11. ■Scottish iron and steel manufacturers report that business during the week just closed was the worst on record. Continental quotations were much below home figures, and there was no alternative to closing down unless wages and the cost of raw material were immediately greatly reduced.-— (A. and N.Z.)
