STREET-BETTING COSTS £100. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) - (USBOR-YE, this day. Francis John O'Kane, convicted of street bettinj;, was fined £ 100. A WELLINGTON CONVICTION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ! WELLINGTON, Monday. Reserved division was given by Mr. Hunt. S.M., at the Magistrate's Court to-day, in the two recent cases against ( Matthew Livingstone, who was charged ]on six informations with issuing I "double" raw cards. The magistrate 1 said lie was unable to agree with the s argument put forward on behalf of the 0 defendant, and imposed a. fine of £5 on f each of the six informations, a Mr. Treadwell asked the magistrate to state a case for tb* MfMBM Court.
