NO CHANGE 12? POSITION. The position in regard to the gas supply remains unchanged, and at tht I moment there ia little prospect aheac of citizens for improved lighting or heat ing. The Gas Company's engineer re plied to a query this morning that h< had nothing to report as to the outlook but that the supply would remain as i had been for the past few days, with i fair pressure of gas being given betweei 4.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. for cooking pur poses.
