FAREWELL PRESENTATION.
Mr. C ,f. Tunks. chairman of the Auckland branch of the St. Johns Ambu-■l-aore. was farewelled by the members on Saturday n ght at the Rutland Street Hail. The Mayor. Mr. J. H. rtun«on, refcrr-d to the valuable work rendered to the Order by Mr. Tunks during the !n*t 20 >ear>. .\fiss Tunks was presented with a beautiful bouquet. Eulogistic remarks were made by Dr. P. A. Lindsay for the Medical Association. Mr. J. T. Hutcfrinson for th<> brigade, and Mr. Wm. Rattray (hon. sec.)!" Musical items were rendered by Mrs. I. Philli-ps, Mrs. Burnett, and the Mis-.es Lewis ami j iPufceher. Amongst those present were' Dr. C. H. Tew&ley, Mt. Wesley Spragge. I and Mr. Hudson.
