I Sound. Mr. Turner left Wellington last : month to attempt the ascent of the mountain. It was stated in a tele gram from one of the roadmen on the Milford Hound track that the party which had gone with three days' food ' supplies, had been missing since February
20. A Press Association telegram received from Invercargill this morning stated ; that Mr. Turner and his tourist piiide" are safe. Mr. D. McPherson, one of the party, wires that they have been tc Martin's Crapr, and are now poing back to Milford. They expect to reach Inver- , cargill on March 15.
